Quick Start Guide
Modified from SlashDudes original post
1. If you don't have LLR.exe, download
llr.zip here!
2. Reserve a range that is currently available by right clicking on the word
"Available" and saving the target to your computer, and requesting the range with the
above form, so that two people don't work on the same set
3. Open LLR, and select the "Test" menu, then "Input Data"
In the "Input File (From NewPGEN):" box enter the file from step 2
(IE - 121_200000-250000.txt)
In the "Output file:" box, enter prime.txt
Make sure "starting at line number:" is set to 1
Click "OK"(If the LLR icon doesn't turn from "Red" to "Green" repeat step 3,
and it will start the 2nd time you hit "OK")
4. If LLR finds a prime number, it will appear in your prime.txt output file.
This number will qualify for the top 5000 prime list!
If you don't have a 15k top 5000 prime list prover code, I'll help you set one up
so you will receive credit in the record books for the new prime!
5. When the test is complete, submit the results file using the above form.
6. Get another range and return to step 2.

1. go to http://primes.utm.edu/bios/newprover.php
2. Put in your full name, username (last name) and an email address
3. Go to your biographical page when you get your email. (there should be a link once you get an email from the, but if its not, you can find it here http://primes.utm.edu/bios/page.php?id=xxx where xxx is your id number that they email you)
4. Click create a new proof code.
5. Under proof method select Jean Penne's LLR
6. In the box below where it says "none" erase that and type in "12121search, sr1sieve" without the quotes
7. Click submit.
8. Make sure all of the information is correct and then press to complete submission at the bottom
9. Click on your last name (or username) on the next page
10. At the bottom it will say "Submit primes using the code: ___" (click on the new code.)
11. In the box type in your prime (121*2^xxxxxxx-1)
12. Submit it, and you'll be all set
